    Die Aufgabe des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts (DAI) ist die weltweite archäologisch-altertumswissenschaftliche Forschung. Mit seinen Forschungsprojekten schafft das DAI eine wichtige Grundlage für den Dialog zwischen Kulturen, für die internationale wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und für den Erhalt des kulturellen Erbes.
